"Out of the Nest!" is THIS Friday already and we thought it would be good to answer some common questions here!

Are there any tickets left? Is the event sold out? No more tickets are left. The event is completely sold out!!!

What should I wear?  Polka Dots! We wanted to give you a reason to get dressed up so this is a semi-formal event. Some of us are wearing dresses, some nice pants and a blouse, some even have polka dot scarves! Have fun! This is no way a dress up competition.


How should we plan around the Milwaukee traffic? There is traffic from the Zoo Interchange construction on Hwy 94 and Hwy 45.

From the West: Coming from 94 West and going East you shouldn't experience too much slow down. Maybe 5 minutes tops. I have driven it multiple times with no problem.

From the North: Those traveling from the Hwy 45 North to Milwaukee add an additional 10 minutes to your drive.

Coming from the South or the East: You should be just fine!

Where can we park? There is plenty of street parking near the Grace Center downtown Milwaukee. You don't need change for meters as they have LUKE meters. LUKE meters accept Visa and Mastercard and coins if you prefer. We set the time of our event at 6:30 so that you can avoid the main rush of dinner and event street parking that happens around 7pm. There is 2-hour parking until 7pm. So you only have to pay for the minutes of parking until 7pm.

Will "New Beginnings" accept gently-used items? Yes! Please use your best discretion. Items do not need to be wrapped.

We will have a pack 'n play at our "Out of the Nest!" event for you to put in items to be donated to New Beginnings: A Home for Mothers. They currently have two new mothers (one carrying twins!) and could use some more newborn girl and preemie size clothes. Here is their wish list & Target registry




Can I sit by my friend? Is there assigned seating? Absolutely, yes! We realize that you don't get out with your friends as often as you like (neither do we!) so we really don't want to split you up. You can sit or stand by whom ever you like.

The event layout is similar to a cocktail party. There are large tables to sit down and some high tables to stand at. This isn't church so you don't have to claim a seat!

How much wine can I drink?  One glass of wine is included with each ticket. If you would like another glass of wine it is an additional $5. Soda, juice, and water are unlimited for the whole evening.

What is the schedule? Here is our itinerary! You can see that there is time set in there just for mingling. We didn't want to over schedule your night out and respect your time to talk and catch up with old friends and new!


How will the giveaways work? When you arrive Amber (fellow Hen) will meet you at the entrance table upstairs. There you will be given a little organza bag filled with 15 tickets with your name on it. Throughout the night you can visit the booths and see their amazing giveaways offered. We LOVE our sponsors and are so excited that we are close to $1,000 in giveaways for you all to win!!!

At 7:30pm you have an hour to select where you would like your 15 booth entries to be entered. You can enter 3 tickets maximum at one booth. At 8:30 all entries are closed and the winners will be chosen and announced shortly after!

Can I share the event on social media?  Absolutely! We will be too! Throughout the night we will be sharing images and details on social media using #outofthenest as our hashtag.

When will the professional pictures taken by Fresh Frame Photography be available? 

Sarah Schlicht will be taking pictures of you and your friends and documenting the event. The pictures will be available one week after the event – April 24th! We will share the link to all of the pictures taken by Fresh Frame on our website and on social media then.
