Here’s the thing about our faith and the light which Jesus’ love and God’s promises put inside of each of us: it does not depend on how we feel. Whether you’re having the worst day (or year) or the best, your salvation is as sure as it was yesterday. This issue is packed with reminders that through holding to his Word and clinging to these promises, our God makes us shine like stars for the world to see.
I don’t know where today finds you, my dear sister. Maybe you’re feeling amazing, ready to take this next season by storm and with a brand new bathing suit — I pray this is the case! But maybe you don’t. Maybe the thought of a lack of routine (or the same old routine continuing) and wearing less clothing makes you anxious, wanting to crawl in a hole somewhere — if so, know that I’m praying for you. But also know this: regardless of how you feel, your heavenly Father has clothed you with a radiance which cannot be extinguished by anything in this world and one day, you will shine brighter than you ever could have imagined. And I can barely wait to see it.

Radiant Glory | 4-Week Bible Study by Amanda Rose
Sing with me, “Your glory, God, is what our hearts long for. To be overcome by your presence, Lord.”
This 4-week Bible study will take us through parts of 2 Corinthians and other supporting Scriptures to learn how God’s glory is fragrant, promised, shining, and eternal!
Everyday life can feel mundane when we view it from an earthly attitude. When we view life from a heavenly perspective, truly an eternal perspective, our eyes are opened to see that even the simplest of tasks or common relationships are kingdom opportunities! God calls us his children and brings us into freedom and glory — forever. We can't keep this truth to ourselves!
“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
Dear Jesus, You are the source of light itself! Physically, emotionally, and spiritually, you provide the light we need to truly live! Forgive us, Lord, when we choose to stay in the darkness and deception of our hearts. Your light exposes our hearts and actions so that we may be released from them. Strengthen our faith to follow you in grace and truth no matter what the consequences may be. With you, the darkness cannot overcome us and we are free to live in truth. Shine through our hearts and actions to point others to freedom and life eternal with you! In your name, Amen.
This issue’s interview is with Gretchen Saffles of Well-Watered Women!
Well-Watered Women began out of my Gretchen’s struggle to study God’s Word. She knew she wasn’t the only woman who longed to drink deeply from the Well of Scripture, so she began writing online to encourage women to study the Bible and live out Gospel truths in everyday life. Today, Well-Watered Women is a global online women’s ministry. Their mission is to create Bible study tools and resources to help women read the Word with Christ and apply the Gospel to everyday life. Some of these tools include the “Give Me Jesus” quiet time journal, Bible studies, guided Scripture journals, and now, “The Well-Watered Woman” book.
Like all women, Gretchen wears many hats. She is a wife, a mom, a daughter, a sister, a big dreamer, a Bible teacher, and a business owner. But most importantly, she is a follower and friend of Jesus. Gretchen lives in Atlanta with her husband, Greg, and their two sons, Nolan and Haddon. She loves going on adventures with her family, gardening, cooking tasty meals, baking chocolate chip cookies, painting, reading good books, and teaching women to know and love Jesus. On any given day, you’ll find her with a cup of coffee in hand and a dream stirring in her heart.
