"Out of the Nest!" Interview with Laura Evans

Laura Evans came to Milwaukee, Wisconsin to attend Wisconsin Lutheran College, she left prematurely (in all sense of the meaning) to attain bigger and better paychecks at Starbucks. A pregnancy, wedding, and house quickly put the kibosh on those dreams and left her as a stay-at-home momma of one with twins on the way! Three kids, two cats, one husband later, Laura has rejoined the working-outside-the-home world, is working towards finishing her degree, and enjoys the inner-city life, people, and food!

We are happy to announce that Laura will be doing stand-up comedy at our upcoming mom's night out event, "Out of the Nest!" Laura has had us Hens laughing in tears at bible studies, coffee shops, and at her packed house during play dates. Well, it's time to share her love and humor with our community and we couldn't be more excited!

We attempted to do the interview under one minute - you know, because moms are busy and don't have all day to watch or make a Youtube video - but we obviously missed the mark. LOL! Motherhood includes adjusting expectations and finding the beauty in improvising, right?
