chatter that matters

After John was put in prison, Jesus went into Galilee, proclaiming the good news of God. “The time has come,” he said. “The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!”
— Mark 1:14-15

During the season of Lent we can still praise God - even with an Alleluia!  Yes, Jesus came to die - and he most certainly did - but he didn't stay that way and neither will we. We are crucified with Christ and he has come to set us free from death. "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." - Galatians 2:20

We shall not die but live. The TIME has come. Repent + believe the good news!

The Spirit of the Lord is on me,
    because he has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
and recovery of sight for the blind,
to set the oppressed free,
to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.
— Luke 4:18-19 (Isaiah 61:1-2)
